About · The mission

A retirement planner that thinks in Canadian.

How it actually works.

Five steps from upload to plan. Nothing requires a bank login.

  1. 1. Bring the statements you already get

CSV from any Canadian bank or PDF from any major broker. The parser runs in your browser when the layout allows and on a server worker only when it must. No bank login, no third-party aggregation, no scraping.

  2. 2. The Bureau reads the data

Transactions auto-categorise against 90+ Canadian merchant rules. Holdings + balances populate your ledger. The dashboard runs Net Worth, Cash Flow, and Sankey charts. Privacy stays Canadian and row-level-scoped.

  3. 3. Ask in plain Canadian

Type the question you actually have. Frankie the Front Desk routes it to the specialist — Avery (Planner), Sam (Tax), Riley (Withdrawal), Charlie (Benefits), Jordan (Risk), Casey (Estate), Alex (Budget), Quinn (Goals), Morgan (Concierge). Answers come back in CAD, with sources cited.

  4. 4. Build the plan, run the What-Ifs

Retirement projection with CPP age multipliers, OAS Recovery Tax modelled at $90,997, RRIF minimums by age, provincial brackets. Stress-test against −25/35/50% market drops. Compare Snowball vs Avalanche debt payoff. Run the three-bucket drawdown simulator.

  5. 5. Share with a human when you need to

Advisor-ready PDF export (Plus + Household tiers). Show your accountant or fee-only CFP exactly what you ran, with citations. Decisions stay yours.

Four principles.

  1. 01

Built for Canadian tax, not US-translated

Every line of the planner assumes CRA tables. No "convert Roth IRA to TFSA in your head" hand-waves.

  2. 02

    Educational, not advisory

We are not a registered investment dealer. We will not recommend specific tickers; we explain trade-offs and let you decide.

  3. 03

    No data resale, ever

The business model is paid subscription. There is no advertising surface, no anonymised aggregate data product.

  4. 04

    Honest pricing

Reader is genuinely limited so it stays free forever. Plus pays for the AI model APIs the Bureau runs on. No upsell to an "advisor call."
