Getting started
Invest Wise Way is a personal-finance dashboard for Canadian households. This guide takes you from a new account to a working picture of your money.
Everything is in Canadian dollars and projected through current CRA tables. You enter the numbers you choose to share, and the dashboard turns them into projections, calculators, and plain-language answers from Frankie, your AI guide.
You can begin with as little as your age, savings, and monthly spending, then add detail over time. Nothing here is financial advice; it is an educational model you control.
Step by step
- 01
Create your account
Sign up with your email. No statements or banking connections are required to begin.
- 02
Set up your profile
Onboarding asks for the essentials: your age, province, current savings, and monthly spending. These seed every projection.
- 03
Open the dashboard
Your dashboard gathers net worth, cash flow, the calculators, and the retirement planner in one place.
- 04
Record your cash flow
Enter your income and expenses as monthly category totals, or item by item if you prefer. Only what you choose to share.
Questions
- Do I need to connect my bank?
- No. You type your figures in by hand; there is no banking connection and no bank-statement upload. Investment holdings can optionally be imported from a broker export.
- Is my information private?
- Your data is scoped to your account, so only you can read it, and it is never sold. See the security page for the specifics.
- How much does it cost?
- The core dashboard is free, in Canadian dollars. See the pricing page for any optional upgrades.
